It’s My Birthday! | Year 32
It’s my birthday! 32 years old. I can be an asshole if I want to..and I managed to (LOL). My husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday.
Look y’all…I’ve said before, I walk a fine line between wanting to go out and do fun things and wanting to just lounge in yoga pants all day. Today was a lounge day. I could certainly do with some quiet…but how about YOU just take them and leave me home with chocolate and wine. Hubs likes the whole surprise date thing and thats not really my style. I put up with it on Valentines day because…well I guess it’s both OUR day…but not today. Not December 20th. It’s all about ME. So he brought me home noms noms and I relaxed. Just what I wanted.
I also thought about some things I want to work on this upcoming year. This blog being one of them. I’m not about New Year Resolutions anymore but I do like something to work towards. However, I SUCK SUCK SUCK at staying consistent with certain goals. Health and fitness goals…I have that on lock for the most part. But when it comes to the other things I want to work on..I just stink. They are super simple things I want to do also but you know what they say… Things that are easy to do are easy NOT to do.
I made some goals on my 30th birthday however looking back on them I honestly feel like I didn’t complete any of them. So this time around I will be tracking my progress with HabitBull. I want to actually be able to SEE what/how I’ve done between now and my next birthday. Without further ado…the list
In no particular order…
- Read/listen to at least 1 book a month (personal development)
- Life In 52 Photo Series (A weekly photo challenge)
- Complete A Little Obsessed
- Complete 80 Day Obsession
- Drink Shakeology daily
- Read the Bible daily
- Work out 4-5 days a week
- Meditate 4-5 days a week
- 365 days of accountability posts (anything that has to do with my goals)
- Book 2-3 photo sessions a month
- Blog at least once a week
- Journal daily using Grid Diary
Again…a pretty simple list..but since having my son I’ve just gotten really of track with a lot of things. I may add some goals to the list but for right now these are the things I’ll be focusing on.
